Pilot & Co is pleased to announce the release of its new Wireline Rod Cutter, a tool that addresses the challenge facing drillers when equipment becomes stuck in the hole. It is designed for fast, safe, and precise downhole rod cutting by utilizing the wireline.
Engineered for situations where the drill rods get stuck, the Wireline Rod Cutter eliminates the need for traditional rod strings and cumbersome recovery assemblies. The tool is lowered with the wireline, it deploys on a pre-set timer and performs a cut at the required depth, minimizing downtime, labour, and cost.

Pilot & Co’s new product is powered by a high-precision motor featuring technology used in aerospace and satellite applications, including Mars rover missions. It is lightweight, easy to transport, and supplied in a rugged Pelican case with all essential accessories included.
